What You Will Do:
Under direct supervision, receives and registers patients and visitors in various Patient Administrative Services areas, including emergency department and clinic. Communicates with clinical staff to ensure the smooth processing and disposition of patients.
What You Need to Be Successful:
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
Two years work experience in a customer service driven environment is required. Experience performing patient registration in a health care setting is preferred.
Must pass the UMMC Patient Administrative Services knowledge based test within two consecutive attempts during the initial employment period.
