What You Will Do:
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is responsible for diagnosing and treating patients in collaboration with physician colleagues. The Nurse Practitioner provides continuity of patient care by facilitating and coordinating communication between the health care team, the patient, and the patient's family. The NP serves as a link, integrating relevant research and best practices.
What You Need to Be Successful:
A Master of Science degree, with completion of a Nurse Practitioner Program. Registered and currently recorded with the Maryland Board of Nursing, and certified as a Nurse Practitioner in the area of specialization. A minimum of one year experience as a Registered Nurse is required.
